It's not too late for our Milwaukee Admirals to surge back to the top of the Midwest division standings. Going 2-7-1 in the last ten games is not the way to do it, however. The Admirals are 42 games into the season, and this slide is untimely. The Charlotte Checkers sit atop the division, but are within reach. The Checkers have just four more wins than the Admirals, and the entire division has at least 20 games in the win column.
There are 38 games remaining on the regular season schedule, to the Milwaukee Admirals have time to right the ship. The team will go face to face against the Checkers four more times this season. They need to win at least three of those four games, and many others. They could start by beating the Peoria Rivermen on Friday night. The Rivermen are two games ahead of the Admirals, and playing .500 hockey right now. Meanwhile, the Chicago Wolves are 6-4 in their last ten games, and looking to take the division lead, should Charlotte falter.
