Milwaukee Admirals Hockey Recap

Milwaukee Admirals Hockey
It's not too late for our Milwaukee Admirals to surge back to the top of the Midwest division standings. Going 2-7-1 in the last ten games is not the way to do it, however. The Admirals are 42 games into the season, and this slide is untimely. The Charlotte Checkers sit atop the division, but are within reach. The Checkers have just four more wins than the Admirals, and the entire division has at least 20 games in the win column.

There are 38 games remaining on the regular season schedule, to the Milwaukee Admirals have time to right the ship. The team will go face to face against the Checkers four more times this season. They need to win at least three of those four games, and many others. They could start by beating the Peoria Rivermen on Friday night. The Rivermen are two games ahead of the Admirals, and playing .500 hockey right now. Meanwhile, the Chicago Wolves are 6-4 in their last ten games, and looking to take the division lead, should Charlotte falter.

Nickelback Returns to Milwaukee for 2012

Nickelback Bradley Center

The Nickelback tour is called Here and Now. They return to Milwaukee's Bradley Center on May 25, 2012. Yes, the name of the tour is also the name of their current album. The band promises to play lots of songs from that disk, and many of their other great albums. The band started just over fifteen years ago, and their fans can't seem to get enough of them. The group falls into the "post-grunge" category of music, and they throw in a bit of alternative rock to boot. They started out in tiny Hanna, Alberta, population 2500+. Did you know that the band has sold over fifty million albums? This group as quietly dominated the north woods for a very long time.

Nickelback Band Members

The current Nickelback band members are Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Daniel Adair, and Mike Kroeger. Chad's real name is not Kroeger, but Turton. Why he changed his name is anybody's guess. That changed forced his brother Mike to follow suit. Perhaps they make movies too? Daniel Adair comes from Three Door Down, after the original Nickelback drummer left the band. His name way Ryan Vikedal, and he put in ten years with the group. Adair is also from Canada, but that didn't stop the American rock band Three Doors Down from hiring him as their percussionist. He joined Nickelback just in time to see their album titled All the Right Reasons go to number one. What great timing for Mr. Adair! Take note: he is the fourth drummer for the band. The first drummer was none other than Brandon Kroeger, brother of Mike and Chad. Ryan Peake has been the band's bass player all along.

Nickelback tickets go on sale this January 21. The Bradley Center will have box office hours on that day, so get in line early. Otherwise, try your luck online for the best tickets in the house. See you on May 25, Nickelback fans!
