Greather Milwaukee Auto Show | A Great Way To Check Out New Cars

The Greater Milwaukee Auto Show began this week, continuing a tradition that has brought car-makers and lovers together for years. The annual trade-show opened it's doors on Saturday, at the Delta Center, and it is expected that over half-a-million patrons will attend the event before it wraps-up on Sunday March third.

According to analysts, Wisconsin has been a leader in the upward trend of car sales in recent years, especially compacts. The Automotive Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee says that it expects sales of lighter, smaller, and more fuel efficient cars to increase heavily in 2013, and that makes the city a prime place for manufactures to show their new wares.

Nearly every major car-maker has a presence at the event. Ford rolled out it's new 2013 Mustang for the show, as did Dodge with the brand-new Charger and Challenger. Japanese manufacturers such as Honda and Toyota brought their highly popular compact models to Milwaukee for display, as well as a number of hybrids.

Motor Trend Brings Aston Martin To Milwaukee

Motor Trend, the producers behind the show added some extra glam to this year's event, however. Highlighted by the exact Aston Martin driven by Roger Moore as James Bond in “Die Another Day”, patrons will have the chance to view luxury cars rarely seen on city streets.

Complete with protruding missiles and front-facing machine-guns, 007's Aston Martin is just the first in an array of high-end vehicles on display at the Delta Center for the event. Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini will all have their newest models rolled out for the show, as will Bugatti, with a prototype McLaren P1. And, while attendees will not be able to sit in the cars, Sony will be offering a promotional photo-shoot of patrons that they will then superimpose into the driver's seat of the person's car of choice.

Tickets for the Auto Show will be $10 for adults thirteen and older. $8 for seniors and students, and $5 for children seven-to-twelve. Kids under the age of seven get in free! Special ticket pricing is available on the final day of the event, Sunday March third, when kids under fifteen will be admitted free for Family Day. Official parking for the event will be housed at the Grand Avenue Mall's parking structure. $6 dollar all-day parking will be available there every day of the event. Street parking is also available, as per the City of Milwaukee parking regulations.
